Layered Ash & Iron Vessel

Handbuilt and shaped in a tiered, architectural form, this lidded vessel carries a strong sense of rhythm and structure. Each band wraps the form in subtle movement, giving the piece a grounded, almost geological presence.

Finished in hand-mixed ash and iron glazes, the surface shifts between warm clay tones, soft creams, and deep iron-rich browns. In the firing, the glazes break and run naturally, settling into the carved texture and revealing the layers beneath.

The lid sits cleanly within the upper form, echoing the geometry of the piece while keeping it functional. It works well as a storage vessel but stands just as strong on its own.

Each piece is one of a kind, shaped by hand and finished by fire.
