Iron & Ash Lidded Jar Handmade Pottery

This piece is handbuilt and shaped with intention, carrying a strong, sculptural form that feels both grounded and alive. The surface is carved and textured, then finished with glazes made in-house from iron oxide and wood ash.

In the kiln, those materials shift and settle, creating layered tones of earth, mineral, and fire. The variation across the surface is entirely natural—no two areas are the same, and no result can be repeated.

The lid rests securely, completing the form while keeping the piece functional. It can be used for storage, but it also stands comfortably on its own as a statement piece.

Each mark, texture, and color shift is a direct result of the process—nothing added, nothing forced.
