Face Vessel – Ash & Iron

Handbuilt and sculpted with a loose, expressive approach, this face vessel leans into raw texture and natural form. The features are intentionally unrefined, giving the piece a grounded, almost ancient quality—like something shaped more by instinct than precision.

Finished in hand-mixed iron and ash glazes, the surface breaks and runs organically across the form. Dark, glossy rivulets settle into the contours of the face, contrasting with the warm, earthy tones of the clay beneath.

The wide, open neck gives it versatility—equally suited as a small vase, a functional vessel, or a sculptural object on its own.
